DDNJCT Associates Give Back to Local Communities During Eighth Annual All Associate Volunteer Day
PARSIPPANY, N.J. — October 6, 2026 — Delta Dental of New Jersey and Connecticut (DDNJCT) associates came together on Friday, September 18, 2026, for the company’s eighth annual All Associate Volunteer Day, with more than 215 associates volunteering at 13 nonprofit organizations across New Jersey and Connecticut. “All Associate Volunteer Day is one of the most meaningful days of the year for our organization and one of my personal favorites,” said Paul Di Maio, President and CEO of Delta Dental of New Jersey and Connecticut. “It’s inspiring to see our associates come together with such enthusiasm, compassion and a shared commitment to giving back. Their dedication creates a lasting impact for our nonprofit partners and the individuals and families they serve. Supporting our communities is at the heart of who we are at Delta Dental and this day reflects the values, purpose and spirit that define our organization.” On the 18th, DDNJCT’s associates across departments contributed approximately 655 volunteer hours supporting organizations focused on food insecurity, animal welfare, community resources, children and families, and other local needs.

DDNJCT associates volunteer at nourish.NJ in Dover, N.J., which provides healthy food and connects community members with resources addressing hunger and its root causes.

They participated in a range of volunteer projects throughout the day, including:
- America’s Grow-A-Row in Milford, N.J., where associates handpicked 25,600 pounds of sweet corn, providing an estimated 102,400 servings of fresh produce to communities facing food insecurity.
- Rise Against Hunger, where volunteers packed 14,200 meals using rice, soy, dehydrated vegetables, and essential vitamins and minerals.
- Healing Meals Community Project in Connecticut, where associates prepared and packed nutritious meals for individuals and families facing a health crisis and wrote cards to accompany the meals.
- St. Hubert’s Animal Welfare Center in Madison, N.J., where associates walked adoptable dogs and helped create food and toy enrichment activities for animals at the shelter.
- United Way of Northern New Jersey, where volunteers packed 120 United for Reading and Keep Kids Warm kits for children in the Dover area.
Associates also volunteered with Community FoodBank of New Jersey, Community Hope, Eleventh Hour Rescue, Fosterfields Living Historical Farm, Girl Scouts of Northern New Jersey, nourish.NJ, Ronald McDonald House, and Northern Ocean Habitat for Humanity ReStore.
Since launching All Associate Volunteer Day in 2019, DDNJCT has continued to bring associates together each year to support nonprofit organizations and communities throughout New Jersey and Connecticut. The initiative is part of the company’s broader commitment to giving back and creating healthier communities alongside the Delta Dental of New Jersey Foundation.
