PARSIPPANY, NJ—April 8, 2019— Delta Dental of New Jersey, Inc., New Jersey’s leading dental benefits company, was recognized as a “Champion of Good Works” on March 19 at
Commerce and Industry Association of New Jersey (CIANJ) 7th Annual Companies that Care Awards Reception, held at Nanina’s in the Park in Belleville, N.J.
The Delta Dental of New Jersey Foundation (DDNJ Foundation) was honored during the awards ceremony for its work helping children receive access to dental care, specifically through its partnerships with KinderSmile Foundation, Boys and Girls Club of Newark, and the New Jersey Dental Association’s Give Kids A Smile Day. The DDNJ Foundation has supported dental education programs and access to dental care for more than 30 years for children across the state.
Foundation Chairman, Dr. Gene Napoliello, and Foundation Trustee, Ellen Schworn, accepted the award on the Foundation’s behalf. Also in attendance were Joan Henderson, Community Relations and Events Coordinator, Kimberly Elmore, Corporate Communications Manager, and Mrs. Lucille Napoliello.
