Initial Credentialing (new dentists) and Recredentialing

Delta Dental has partnered with DentalXChange to bring you online recredentialing

Your entire recredentialing process with Delta Dental of New Jersey & Connecticut will now take place online. This new capability, developed for us with DentalXChange, simplifies recredentialing for you.

Here's what you need to know:

  • Instead, the email from DentalXChange will include a link to our online credentialing portal. The portal contains everything you need for credentialing in one convenient location.
  • When you come due for recredentialing, you’ll receive an email from DentalXChange to get started.
  • Online forms have auto-populating fields, so you only need to enter information once. There’s an online repository to store documents. You can e-sign your credentialing documents, too.
We still recredential dentists every three years. If you were last credentialed in 2022, you’ll be recredentialed again in 2025, using DentalXChange. Look for an email from DentalXChange when it’s nearing time for your next recredentialing.
