PARSIPPANY, N.J. — April 11, 2018 — Delta Dental of New Jersey, New Jersey’s leading dental benefits company, was recognized on the evening of March 20 for their corporate philanthropy at Commerce and Industry Association of New Jersey (CIANJ) 5th annual Companies that Care Reception: Saluting the Generosity of Business, held at Nanina’s in the Park in Belleville, N.J.
Over the course of last Veteran’s Day weekend, Delta Dental of New Jersey, along with Zufall Health, sponsored New Jersey’s inaugural Missions of Mercy: Smiles for Our Heroes event that provided free dental care, everything from cleanings and X-rays to root canals, extractions and dentures, to more than 200 veterans from North and Central Jersey with the assistance of 140 volunteer dental professionals and support staff.

Gene Napoliello, D.D.S., chairman of the Delta Dental of New Jersey Foundation Board of Trustees, who was instrumental in the development and execution of New Jersey’s Missions of Mercy: Smiles for Our Heroes event, accepted the award.
