Broker Bonus Program

Who is Eligible?

All brokers who are appointed to sell Delta Dental of New Jersey or Connecticut's individual plans are eligible for the program.

What can I earn?

First new policy sold = $50
10 new policies (including the first) = $100
25 new policies = $300
50 new policies = $700
75 new policies = $1,200
100 new policies = $1,800

The bonus is paid within 60 days of the close of each Bonus Period.

Eligible new policies must have an original effective date within the Bonus Period date range and must still be in force at the end of the Period.

How long does the bonus program run?

The program runs for consecutive four-month Bonus Periods:

• Period 1 = May 1 through August 31
• Period 2 = September 1 through December 31
• Period 3 = January 1 through April 30

The program resets at the beginning of each Period; however, sold policies in excess of the highest level reached in a Period are carried over into the next Period.

For example: if you sell 60 policies in a Period and reach the 50-policy bonus level, the remaining 10 carry forward into the next Period to give you a head start (provided they are still in force at the end of the new Period).

Base commissions and incentives are paid on all new individual policies underwritten by Delta Dental of New Jersey and Connecticut and sold through your unique broker URL. It applies to the sale of Individual and Family Plan Products available through Delta Dental of New Jersey or Delta Dental of Connecticut on DeltaDentalCoversMe.com and does not apply to policies sold through HealthCare.gov or policies underwritten by any other Delta Dental affiliate (including, but not limited to, Delta Dental policies offered through AARP). The maximum bonus payment per agent or agency URL is $1,800 per Bonus Period. The New Business Incentive program can be terminated or modified by Delta Dental of New Jersey and Connecticut at any time without notice and is offered at Delta Dental of New Jersey and Connecticut’s sole discretion.
