Freedom of Choice

With Delta Dental Premier, Advantage Program, and Delta Dental PPO, patients have complete freedom in selecting a dentist. Visiting a participating dentist allows patients to maximize their benefits. If the patient sees a dentist who is not a Delta Dental dentist, the patient is responsible for the difference between the approved fee for the program and the dentist’s charge.

Benefit Design Flexibility

Benefit levels including copayments, deductibles, maximums, and covered services can be customized. A full array of funding options (risk and self-funded) are available, and programs are available to groups as small as 15 employees.

No-Hassle Claim Submission

When employees visit any Delta Dental participating dentist, dentists complete and return the claim form to Delta Dental. Benefits for covered services are paid directly to participating dentists. And Delta Dental provides a detailed Notification of Payment to each patient indicating the amount the dentist must accept and any portion, such as co-payments, for which the patient is responsible. Our state-of-the-art claims system, imaging technology, and electronic claims capability ensure fast, accurate processing and service.
