ACTIVE KIDS NEED PROTECTED TEETH

What: As back-to-school football, soccer and other sports training camps gear up, parents and athletes should be aware of the dangers of oral and cranial sports injuries. According to the Academy of General Dentistry, more than 200,000 injuries are prevented each year by athletes using mouth guards. Without protection, it's estimated that athletes' teeth are 60 times more susceptible to damage. Mouth guards can range anywhere from $5 to $300 - a bargain when you consider the rehabilitation costs for a single knocked-out tooth.
