DELTA DENTAL OF NEW JERSEY CELEBRATES
CUSTOMER SERVICE WEEK
PARSIPPANY, NJ (October 12, 2006) – Delta
Dental of New Jersey recently celebrated National
Customer Service Week, the national observance
for service-focused organizations, celebrated
the first week in October. In honor of this
year's theme "Building Bridges to Customers,"
Delta Dental employees competed in teams to
build bridges out of office supplies that creatively
incorporated the company's core customer service
values. The bridge competition was part of
a fun filled day that included a company picnic
and team building games including tug-of-war,
potato sack races, water toss and double-dutch.
"Customer Service Week gives Delta Dental
the opportunity to raise awareness of the importance
of customer service among all of our employees
and recognize our customer service department
for the excellent job they do all year long," said
Ellen Schworn, administrator of Human Resources
and coordinator of Delta Dental's annual Customer
Service Week. "The activities we schedule
all week work to build morale and encourage
teamwork. Our employees really look forward
to the celebration."
