NEW JERSEY AND CONNECTICUT BROKERS
RATE DELTA DENTAL HIGHEST IN SATISFACTION
PARSIPPANY, NJ (August 21, 2006) – Recently,
an online survey of insurance brokers handling
business in New Jersey and Connecticut was
conducted by English Communications of Morristown
for Delta Dental of New Jersey. Results identified
Delta Dental highest in broker satisfaction
among nine regional dental benefits carriers.
"Building and maintaining relationships
with brokers has always been a priority at
Delta Dental, and this survey has enabled us
to quantify our efforts. Plans are underway
to make this an annual survey," said Mark
Nadeau, Vice President, Marketing, for Delta
Dental of New Jersey.
The survey, resulting in a 34 percent response
rate, identified broker's most important dental
carrier attribute as client satisfaction.
Concerning client-related attributes, brokers
are most satisfied with Delta Dental's reputation
- specifically regarding subscriber and client
satisfaction, ability to resolve problems,
claims processing and the ease with which a
subscriber can locate a network dentist.
The survey also identified that brokers are
most happy with Delta Dental's implementation
of new groups, the company's timeliness and
accuracy of commissions, and the accessibility
of accurate rate information.
