IN HONOR OF HEART MONTH DELTA DENTAL OF NEW JERSEY RAISES AWARENESS AMONG ITS EMPLOYEES

PARSIPPANY, NJ (February 6, 2006) – On Friday, February 3, 2006, Delta Dental of New Jersey employees were invited to wear red and decorate their departments in red in honor of "Go Red for Women Day," a nationwide movement that empowers women with the knowledge and tools to reduce their risk of heart disease. Most of Delta Dental's 339 employees participated in the awareness event, which also included a "Learn and Lunch" with cardiologist Keith Leibowitz, DO, from Lakeland Cardiology Center who talked about how to maintain a healthy heart. The Underwriting and Actuarial Department was the most spirited, decorating their area with red streamers, balloons, hearts, and even a red carpet that only those wearing red were allowed to walk along.
