MACs are the fee levels Delta Dental uses in processing claims. This recalculation will affect certain services performed in 2009 by participating and non-participating dentists in New Jersey and Connecticut. Also, effective January 2010, Delta Dental made changes to the MACs for services performed in 2010. We expect many fees to increase, some to decrease, while others will remain unchanged.
