Delta Dental Associates Give Gift of Life
Every two seconds someone in the United States needs blood, according to the American Red Cross. Delta Dental associates recently responded to that need. Forty-four associates signed up for the fall blood drive, and 38 pints were collected. More than 10% of Delta Dental's associates are blood donors, which is twice the national average. Healthy donors are the only source of blood for emergencies and for people who have cancers, blood disorders, sickle cell anemia and other illnesses. Delta Dental will host another blood drive in the spring.
