People don’t always understand
their employer’s dental plan. Part of Luhra Ebarle’s job
is to make things crystal clear.
Luhra is Delta Dental’s newest service coordinator. The
longtime Delta Dental employee joined the company in
1998, and most recently served as Marketing secretary.
Mark Nadeau, Vice President, Marketing, announced her
promotion to service coordinator in April. “It is always
gratifying when you can promote a long-term employee who
has made significant contributions,” he said.
Service coordinators work closely with account
executives to help manage relationships with our large
groups and their employees. Luhra works with account
executive Kristin Gallagher, and serves Middlesex,
Monmouth, Ocean, Atlantic, Burlington, Camden, Cape May
and Gloucester counties.
“I’m still getting my feet wet, but I really like what
I’m doing,” says Luhra. “There’s a lot of face-to-face
contact with brokers, HR administrators and employees in
the different groups. Sometimes they have questions or
misperceptions about their benefits, and I’m there to
make sure they get the information they need. Because
I’m new to the job, I don’t have all the answers right
away, but I’ll find them as fast as possible!”
Luhra will graduate next year with a bachelor’s degree
in Marketing at Berkeley College in West Paterson, NJ.
In her spare time she enjoys cooking different varieties
of food, hiking, and other outdoor sports. |
