In a recent message to employees, President and CEO Walter VanBrunt explained The Delta Difference.
"The Delta Difference helps us to differentiate us from competitors and to distinguish our organization to clients. In this context, it grew out of our unique filed fee system and cost controls associated with the Premier product, as well as the breadth of the Premier network. It is also utilized more broadly to convey all of our attributes, such as our not-for-profit status, product diversity, our knowledgeable staff, superior/local customer service, reporting capabilities, network management, and claim verification expertise. I believe we excel in these areas, we take pride in them, and it does differentiate us in the marketplace."
VanBrunt added, "As to how The Delta Difference applies to our corporate culture, I believe these attributes are significant and largely define our brand in very tangible terms. We are customer-service focused, whether the customer is internal or external, claimant, dentist, broker, or group administrator. We are the expert in the dental benefit business, and all associates should take pride in and strive to live up to that organizational standing."
