DeltaUSA, the separate, incorporated affiliate with which Delta Dental administers national dental benefits accounts, posted a 46.4% increase in primary subscribers during the 12-month period ending in January 2004.
"Much of this growth can be attributed to the strength of our networks of dentists," said Kim Volk, president and CEO of Delta Dental Plans Association. "DeltaUSA
offers access to the nation's largest dentist networks, and that's very important to employers with employees located in multiple states."
Approximately 28% of Fortune 500 employers and thousands of smaller companies rely on DeltaUSA for dental benefits.
