We recently asked students
in the K-1 class taught by Adrienne Weber and Shelley
Weitz at Normandy Park School in Morristown, NJ, what
they thought. Here's what they said:
Chandler: I think she makes her castle out of them. It's a tooth castle. I don't
know how big it is because it depends on how big the teeth are.
Niko: She gets them and she goes somewhere. I don't know where. She just wants
to make you happy by changing your tooth into money.
Carlin: She wants to make a collection. When kids go to sleep she quietly comes
and gets the tooth. And sometimes when they are in plastic bags, she takes the
tooth from the bag and puts money in it. When she gets too many teeth she magically
turns them into money to give to kids.
Leenah: She builds a pink castle out of them. It's where she puts all the teeth.
It's up in space. It's 10 feet tall. She's one-inch tall.
Aviance: I don't know what she does. I put my tooth under the pillow, she takes
it and she gives me some money and a toy. She doesn't give me candy or I'd get
a toothache.
Sekayi: She puts money under the pillow. She takes the teeth to her house and
puts them in a pile. The pile is bigger than the school. It goes up to space.
The house is on a cloud.
Juliet: I think she makes statues and puts teeth in all the statues, and my brother
thinks that, too. She makes statues of children and grown-ups and animals and
anything with teeth.
Gillian: She makes a castle so she can sleep there during the day. It's a big
castle. She has lots of helpers. It's as big as the little playground at school.
There are different fairies who make the castle for her. She has to get all the
teeth, so she doesn't have time to make the castle, and all the furniture, and
the flag on top.
Lindsey: She makes them into a necklace. She wears it. She has a different necklace
for each person.
Hannah: She makes a castle with teeth. She doesn't need to buy furniture or things
because they're made out of teeth. The castle is in the clouds.
Kevin: She uses them for building her home. It's white because the teeth are
white. If the kids don't brush, she won't want their teeth.
Ava: I think she only collects baby teeth because she doesn't have any teeth
of her own.
Radha: Maybe she makes a huge pile of it and uses it to make bigger teeth.
Matthew S.: She puts them in a pile, and she turns the teeth into a quarter.
If you want more money, you have to put the tooth under the pillow and put your
head on the pillow. Then you'll get money under another pillow if you have another
pillow.
Danny: I think she either turns the teeth into money or she uses them to build
her castle.
Devon: I think she doesn't have any teeth and she uses them for her own teeth.
Brandon: I think she puts them under her pillow and another Tooth Fairy comes
and collects them.
Eric: I think she puts them in a bag and takes them to the bank and switches
them for money.
Ryan: She puts them in a basket and takes them to a factory to make them into
gold coins or something.
Davin: She makes her palace out of teeth. It's a big white palace and it's where
nobody can find it.
Lindsey: I think she grinds the teeth into cement so she can build her house.
It's like a little castle, with clouds.
Matt: She gives them back to you. She scans it and leaves a little brown thing
on it, and then she puts money under your pillow with the tooth.
Valeria: Maybe she puts them in a lot of little piles all over her house. |
