service record is well known, you may not be aware
of Delta Dental’s involvement within the community.
As a concerned corporate citizen, we pride ourselves
on the variety of programs we have instituted or
supported that aid the needy, educate the community,
and assist worthwhile organizations. Here are some
of the major ways Delta Dental supports our community.
Captain Supertooth
Delta Dental of New Jersey, through our Foundation,
sponsors an educational program for elementary schools

PANDA (Prevent Abuse and Neglect through Dental Awareness)
PANDA is an educational program sponsored by our Foundation for dental office personnel, as well as teachers, school nurses, and any other groups of people who work with children, on how to recognize and report suspected child abuse and neglect.
Special Olympics
Delta Dental of New Jersey
has been a proud sponsor of Special
Olympics New Jersey since 1991. Currently, we
are a Premier Sponsor of Special Olympics New
Jersey. As a sponsor, we have had the honor of funding
this worthwhile organization in many ways:
- Host of the Ice Show at the Winter Games
- Host of the Delta Dental Classic, our annual
golf outing benefiting New Jersey Special Olympics.

Holiday Gift Drive
Each year, Delta Dental selects a needy charity and
conducts a gift-giving event to coincide with the
holidays. Recipients have included:
- Boarder Babies at Newark University Hospital
- Hope House, a social service center in Dover
- Saint Peter’s Village, a local orphanage
- Several Sources Foundation, a shelter for unwed
mothers
- Angel Connection, an organization that helps children
in families affected by HIV/AIDS
- Fireman’s Home in Boonton
- Karen Ann Quinlan Hospice in Newton
- Lyons VA Hospital in Liberty Corner
- Youth Consultation Services
- Toys for Tots at Picatinny Arsenal
Thanksgiving Food Drive
During the month of November, Delta
Dental employees support local needy families to
provide them with a nutritious Thanksgiving meal.
All of the food goes to families who utilize the
services of Hope House. In addition to the numerous
baskets of food that are donated, Delta Dental
employees also make monetary donations to purchase
supermarket gift certificates for the families.
Blood Drive
Because Delta Dental recognizes the critical need
for blood donations, we conduct an annual blood drive.
In a joint effort with the New Jersey Blood Services,
Delta Dental employees volunteer to donate blood
for our drive. All of the blood collected goes to
more than 40 hospitals in New Jersey, including all
the trauma and tertiary care centers in the area.
