Team Leader, Pre Edit & Support Staff


Summary
This position will direct and coordinate all activities of the Pre-Edit Department and the Support Staff. This will be accomplished by assisting the Claims, Customer Service and Enrollment Department Management team in reaching department service goals. The Team Leader will be responsible for fostering production and quality expectations in both areas of the company.

Qualifications
The qualifications of the Team Leader for Pre Edit and Support staff include previous Delta Dental experience or equivalent organization with demonstrated claims processing, insurance claims background and technical competence in claims processing systems and guidelines. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with proficiency in Word and Excel or similar software. Ability to utilize current reporting software such as Business Objects. Proven leadership skills will be required with 2-3 years experience and the knowledge of the principles and practices of supervising staff. Excellent communication and organizational skills are necessary to succeed in this role.

Dental Network Coordinator, Connecticut Office

Summary
Responsible for Delta Dental’s network recruitment for specified dental networks within geographic areas of New Jersey and/or Connecticut. Includes assistance in developing, and implementing recruitment. Develops relationships with network offices staff and dentists. Reports any related dental information and recommendations as necessary to the Dental Director and Director of Dental Network Management. Represents Delta Dental to the dental community for purposes of participation, network services, recruitment and retention. Responsible for achieving recruitment goals.

Requirements
This candidate must have the ability to travel extensively throughout the states of New Jersey and Connecticut, including day trips and overnight stays as necessary. A valid active drivers’ license is required. Certification in dental auxiliary training necessary-CDA, RDA, RDH, LPN or RN strongly preferred. Knowledge of government regulatory requirements as they apply to dental practice. Experience in the administration of traditional and managed care dental insurance programs. Previous dental office management experience with some management skills necessary. Experience in professional interactions with dentists or other medical professional required. Must have strong dentist recruitment, contracting and negotiating skills. Strong oral, formal and informal presentation and written communications skills. Strong commitment to work ethic to be able to assume multiple responsibilities while working
in a highly independent environment. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office.

Part-time Periodontal Consultant


Summary
Delta Dental of New Jersey is seeking a part-time (up to 20 hrs/week) Periodontal Consultant to review and evaluate dental claims, by applying dental guidelines and policy to initially screens claims for appropriateness and necessity.

Qualifications
The requirements include an active NJ Specialist Permit in Periodontics. It is preferred that the applicant be in active practice with a minimum of 5 years experience. Excellent verbal and written communications skills required. The claims review will take place at the DDNJ Office located at 1639 State Route 10, Parsippany, NJ 07054.
