Claims Examiner I


Training begins May 11, 2015

Summary
A Claims Examiner I, following established company guidelines, examines and adjudicates dental claims, within expected levels of quality and productivity. This position progresses to a CE 2 within an 18 month period of time. The job description for a CE 1 and CE 2 are included in this posting.

Requirements
Minimum 1-3 years claims processing or related service experience, Dental Assistant education/experience a plus. Personal computer skills with the ability to type 25 words per minute. Experience with both Word and Excel programs. Excellent oral and written communications skills. Examiner must have problem-solving abilities, good analytical, and organizational skills.

Please note: the CE1 position is a path to CE 2.

System Analyst


Summary
System Analyst with minimum 5 years of experience needed to support technology project implementations. The primary responsibility of this position is to convert business requirements and project concepts into technical design and technical requirement specifications. More specifically, the System Analyst contributes to the software development lifecycle by collaborating with project team members both technical and non-technical to solidify requirements, perform technical analysis, lead design specifications, and assists developers in implementing to specifications. This person must have a solid technical background in application development, strong analytical ability, good communication skills and be comfortable translating business requirements into technical documentation and design concepts. The two primary systems supported will be a claims processing system utilizing a Visual Basic .Net/SQL Server architecture and an Enterprise Data Warehouse utilizing Microsoft SQL Server 2008 with standard ETL processes (Web services and Electronic Data Interface EDI experience a plus). Additional third party and smaller internal systems will also need to be understood from an architecture and implementation perspective although to a lesser degree.

Qualifications
This position requires an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field and/or at least 5 years of relevant experience. Health Care or other relevant industry experience is preferred. At least 5 years experience with SQL Server and Visual Basic, .NET technologies. Understanding of infrastructure and familiarity with Citrix Server, ODBC and ETL frameworks will be strongly preferred.

Summary
This position has the primary responsibility to develop, establish and enforce quality assurance standards and measures for the information technology within the organization. The position works as a liaison between the business and the development team. The position is responsible for developing the execution of test plans, test scripts, regression testing (unit, functional, interface, end-to-end integration, end-to-end acceptance) and usability (component usability, functional usability as well as documentation of defects and enhancements, creating automated scripts and utilize testing tools.

Director, IT Security


Summary
The IT Security Director’s role is to provide vision and leadership for developing and supporting security initiatives. This individual directs the planning and implementation of enterprise IT system, business operation, and facility defenses against system and data security breaches and vulnerability issues. This individual is also responsible for auditing existing systems, while directing the administration of security policies, activities, and standards.

This individual would oversee the operations of the enterprise’s security solutions through management of the organization’s security analysts. The IT Security Director would be responsible for establishing an enterprise security stance through policy, architecture and training processes and steer any necessary remediation efforts. Secondary tasks will include the selection of appropriate security solutions, and oversight of any vulnerability audits and assessments. The IT Security Director is expected to interface with staff in the Systems and Network departments as well as with the leaders of the business units to both share the corporate security vision with those individuals and to lead the processes towards achieving higher levels of enterprise security through information sharing and co-operation.

Application Programmer Analyst


Summary
The Application Programmer Analyst will be part of the Information Services team, and is responsible for the applications and utilities developed and supported internally including Electronic Data Interchange transactions. The position has an active role in the continuous development of the department’s practices and procedures and has responsibility to advance and promote quality systems. Support of these applications in production may require work outside normal business hours. The position offers the opportunity to learn new and diversified technology skills.

Qualifications

Actuary


Summary

This position reports directly to the CFO and will be expected to apply their knowledge of finance and business to Unpaid Claim Liability, Trend Analysis, Rate Formula Evaluation, Dentist Fee Analysis, Financial Forecasting and Business Analytics. The Actuary will closely interact with the Underwriting Department.

Requirements
This position requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Mathematics or related field, with emphasis or experience in Business or Insurance. An ASA and/or FSA designation required and a minimum of 5-plus years of actuarial experience in the Healthcare Insurance industry (dental experience a plus) and a minimum of 3 years of management experience. Knowledge of valuation and financial projections, as well as familiarity with GAAP and statutory financial reporting and accounting principles is essential. Knowledge of business intelligence and data warehouse applications is highly desirable.
