Customer Service Team Leader

Summary: Assists in the supervision and coordination of activities of Customer Service Agents. Responsibilities would include handling difficult calls, providing leadership to the team, sharing monthly feedback to team members and ongoing analysis of procedures to improve workflows.

Requirements: Position requires a bachelor degree with a minimum of three years leadership experience preferably in an insurance company with customer service responsibility. The requirements include the ability to handle multiple priorities as well as exceptional organizational skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. Must also be detailed oriented. Ability to work in a team environment. Excellent leadership, facilitation, problem solving, decision making, computer proficiency and analytical skills are required.

Team Leader, Claims

Requirements: This position is responsible for providing quality and efficient claims processing through the daily management of a team of up to 15 associates to include hiring, motivating, recognizing and rewarding, coaching, counseling, training and problem solving. This position also provides continual evaluation of workflows, processes and procedures as well as suggesting methods to improve claim operations, efficiency and service to both internal and external customers. The Team Leader provides statistical and performance feedback and coaching on a regular basis to each team member.

This individual must possess a thorough knowledge of health/dental insurance and have a claims processing background. Dental Assistant education/experience would be a plus. Supervisory/Leadership abilities or proven success in the areas of leading, initiative, coaching and developing a staff in a claims environment is required along with a high level of organizational, analytical and reasoning skills. Excellent oral/written communication skills are required to effectively communicate to a variety of audiences.
