IT Security Engineer Consultant

 

Summary

The core responsibilities of the IT Security Engineer Consultant include engineering, implementing and monitoring security measures for the protection of computer systems, networks and information.  

The individual we seek for this position will identify and define system security requirements, design system security architecture and develop detailed security designs, prepare and document SOPs and protocols, configure and troubleshoot security infrastructure devices, develop technical solutions and new security tools to help mitigate security vulnerabilities and automate repeatable tasks, ensure that the company is made aware immediately of security incidents, develop automation scripts and handle/track incidents, and perform vulnerability testing, risk analysis and security assessments.

Qualifications include proven work experience in building and maintaining security systems, detailed technical knowledge of database and operating system security, hands on experience in security systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, anti-virus software, authentication systems, log management, content filtering, etc., experience with network technologies and with system, security and network monitoring tools, thorough understanding of current security principles, techniques and protocols, familiarity with web related technologies (Web applications, Web Services, Service Oriented Architectures) and network/web related protocols, excellent problem solving and communication skills, the ability to collaborate with colleagues on authentication, authorization and encryption solutions and a BS Degree in Computer Science/related field and/or commensurate work experience.  Security certification(s) are a plus.

Manager, Service Desk

Summary

The Service Desk Manager is responsible for the overall handling of end user support and the management of Service Desk functions.  The Service Desk acts as the focal point for the intake, notification and escalation of business technical problems and technical requests.

IT Security Analyst - Consultant Manager, Service Desk


Summary
The core responsibilities of the IT Security Analyst Consultant include working with business units to identify security requirements, collaborating on critical IT projects to ensure that security issues are addressed throughout the project life cycle, working with IT and members of the information security team to identify, select and implement technical controls, and maintain current baselines for the secure configuration and operations of all in-place devices. 

The individual we seek for this position will conduct application risk managements, create and maintain the IT security policy exceptions process, work with IS leadership to develop strategies to enforce security requirements and address identified risks, advise in the application development/other related projects to assess security requirements/controls and ensure implementation, manage the IS Security Awareness Program, perform investigations into problematic activity following detailed operational processes and procedures analyzing/evaluating data from multiple sources to gain awareness of potentially suspicious and anomalous activity and participate in the design and execution of vulnerability assessments, penetration tests and security audits.

Qualifications
The qualifications include a minimum of 5 years of IT Security experience, at least one security certification (CISSP, CRISC, CISM, etc.) and a Bachelor’s degree. Additionally, candidate should have excellent communication skills and the ability to partner with employees and vendors.

Business Analyst, Release Management


Summary
This position has the primary responsibility to elicit, analyze, validate, specify, verify and manage the needs of the Release Management stakeholders including internal/external customers and end users. The Business Analyst for the Release Management team has a main focus of supporting several critical existing system solutions. Through a series of planned releases scheduled throughout the year the Release Management Business Analyst will document requirements, analyze business needs, provide solution support and understand current business process while acting as a conduit between the customer community and the development team. The ability to work cohesively with all stakeholders including senior management, end users, testers, and developers is a requirement of the position. This position will typically work on a host of smaller enhancement or defects which are organized into a larger focused release. Releases are performed roughly every 6-8 weeks and require working as an analyst within an a rapid agile development methodology.

Summary
The System Administrator’s role is to manage and tune in-house computer software systems and network connections to ensure high levels of availability and security of the supported business applications. This individual also participates in the planning and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure system provisioning and maintenance that is consistent with company goals, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements.
