• Together with Delta Dental Insurance Company in Connecticut, has contracted with groups to cover more than 1.5 million people in our commercial, school board, and government programs.
• Is a not-for-profit service corporation, and has led the industry in offering innovative programs designed to control costs while ensuring quality of benefits since 1969.
• Has a subsidiary, Flagship Dental Plans, which administers DeltaCare^®, similar to a dental health maintenance organization.
• Is based in Parsippany, New Jersey, and currently employs approximately 300 people.
• Has licensed dentists on staff.
• Has many customer service representatives and dental claims examiners with previous dental experience.
• Is a member of the nationwide Delta Dental Plans Association, which serves nearly one-third of the estimated 166 million Americans with dental insurance, providing dental coverage to over 54 million people in nearly 93,600 groups across the nation.
